Windhand // Forcefield Records Giveaway!

Windhand just finished up an August tour, and we’ve teamed up with Forcefield Records to help out anybody who missed out on acquiring any of their awesome merch by giving away their Windhand color vinyl, two Windhand tees, and a Forcefield Records tee! The color vinyl version of Windhand’s self-titled 2011 release is completely sold out, so our first winner will get the vinyl and one Windhand tee. The next two winners will get either a Windhand tee or a Forcefield Records tee. To enter, email us at contest@cvltnation.com with “Windhand” as the subject before Wednesday, August 29th at Noon PT. Check out a excerpt from our review of Windhand and stream it below, and photos of your epic prizes after the jump!
***UPDATE: The winners are…
Vinyl & Windhand tee: Nathan Bracey!
Windhand tee: Anna Massoglia!
Forcefield Records tee: James Keglor!***
Thanks to everyone who entered! You can pick up the white vinyl of the Windhand record from Forcefield Records!

WINDHAND takes apocalyptic blues, puts it into a punk bong, lights it with a Sabbath lighter and exhales rad clouds made out of fuzzed out bliss. The vocalist actually melts into every fucking track, and one thing you can tell is this human has lived a soulful life, which you will hear in the words. When I listen to WINDHAND, one word that keeps coming to my mind is magic – maybe it’s because the riffage on this record sounds like it has been made by the hands of a wizard from the land where unicorns dwell and the trees speak!

Great contest for a great band! These first editions sold out way too fast. Saw them in Chicago and they destroyed my head. Best show in a long time, but too short.
