White Wards “Cigarette Burns”
Review-Full Stream-Footage

Since I started contributing to to CVLT Nation, I have had the opportunity to not only discover new bands, but to review their music and share it with people who enjoy loud, fast, weird and aggressive music.  I am always excited when I am assigned a band from Iron Lung Records, because quite frankly, everything that label has put out is a gem in one way or another.  Bands like Gag and Gas Chamber have consistently been putting out some of the best music right now, and we all have Iron Lung to thank for it.  White Wards LP Cigarette Burns is a phenomenal addition to the world of aggressive music, and it takes no prisoners during its eleven song onslaught.  White Wards combines elements of all of your favorite hardcore, punk, and noise bands to break all your fucking teeth in a matter of seconds.

Let’s be real for a second: would Iron Lung put out anything that sucked big floppy donkey dick?  Of course they wouldn’t!!  In fact, I would go so far as to argue that you are wasting your precious time reading my self-indulgent, shitty review, because an LP like this needs no words or hype, just ears.  White Wards isn’t music for a classy party, it’s music for dark rooms and bad attitudes, it’s music for whiskey and lewd sex acts, it’s music for Arizona iced tea and pizza – and most importantly it’s music for rowdy crowds and devoted fans of aggressive music.

I am always grateful when I have the opportunity to review bands from the Iron Lung catalog, and White Wards is by far one of coolest bands I have had the pleasure of punishing my ears to.  So what are you waiting for?  Haven’t you read enough??!! Quit fucking reading my garbage and go let White Wards pop your sacred ear cherry in the dirtiest way!
