Wheel Of Pain…THE IMPALERS Review

How rad is awesome…how dis are The Impalers? This band is d-beat to their core & trust me, they do not fuck around! These Houston dis-warriors serve up pure death blows on their 5-song demo, with a little bit of Motorhead thrown in for good measure. Sometimes I just don’t get that there are so many rad unsigned bands, & so many shitty signed bands…ok, that’s a whole other story…alright then, back to the review. The Impalers create high octane dis-crust. The guitar playing on this demo could behead a Mexican drug lord, because the sound is sharp & deadly. The drumming on this demo pounds cracks into my brain with each listen, & for some reason I’m ok with it, maybe it’s because their chaos is epic! Vocally, The Impalers set shit off with an “I will rip your face off” kind of delivery, which is how Dis-Beat should be. “Rabid Transgressors” kicks off the demo with a sick vocal sample, then the song bleeds into feedback & rest is history. This is a band that makes me want stop what I’m doing & start on Volume 3 of my Blackened Everything Mixtape series…I guess you could say they inspire me. If you dig D-Beat the way I do, do your ears a favor and download this demo…blast the fuck out of it & you will hear that The Impalers are nothing to fuck with!
