From the time I first knew what the word protest meant, I have been down for it. This is why I dig music that takes huge bites out of corrupt power. The new split from ISKRA & DOOM SIREN is a gnarly, blackened monster that attacks the lords were it hurts. ISKRA’s four songs spit huge amounts of black bile in the faces of the unjust! On every track, the riffs scream for a change of power. To some, their music might sound dark as fuck, but I find it uplifting! Their vocalist has an awesome delivery that makes my blood boil – she fucking means what she is saying 666%. ISKRA’s songs are written in way that is packed with the right amount of anger, but balanced off with a radical dose of sick emotion. This band constructs evil grooves that seem like they are running over all of your nightmares. If I had my way, “Thieves of Life” would programmed into the DNA of humanity, then the 1% would not have a chance to exist. Check out the ISKRA tune “Privileged Morality” – it is the perfect combination of black metal filth and war screams of change! 
Unholy triple fuck, DOOM SIREN kills shit on a whole new level of sonic murder! Their song “Gun Drone” starts off with this really beautiful acoustic guitar, before becoming a horde of raging wild death horses. This song is so fucking epic, I almost lost my mind when I first heard it, then I had it on repeat five times. DOOM SIREN is labeled crustcore, but I would just call totally sick and fucking awesome! This band knows how to lay down a radical groove then flip the script with diseased rancid audio ear candy. DOOM SIREN’s vocalist has a delivery of a crazed crust pirate that is about to claw your face off with his hook! Their riffs are just pure sonic chaos. On all of DOOM SIREN’s songs, the drummer is in all-out attack mode and sounds raw as hell. This split is just off the fucking hook.
