I’m sure we all have it & we all need it – that kind of music that sets your mind right, to kick off your day – well for me, it’s USX. Their new album The Valley Path, out now on Neurot Recordings , is 40 minutes of dark psychedelic bliss that only gets grander with each listen, to quote myself. These Appalachian masters of magical sounds really paint sonic landscapes that evolve with each note. To me, The Valley Path album is soul music, because it is music that was created from the soul, plus it feeds my soul. This is an album that I go back to almost on a daily basis since I reviewed it, & it still sounds rich as ever. If you have not heard this album, go HERE to hear it being streamed.
