I just spent 14 minutes watching another inspiring episode of The Art Of Punk, this one about the story behind the Dead Kennedy‘s logo & the art of Winston Smith. One of my best New Year’s Eves ever happened in 1984 – it was a Dead Kennedy’s gig and they opened with “Welcome to 1984,” and I will never forget that night! CVLT Nation salutes our homie Bryan Ray Turcotte of Fucked Up + Photocopied fame (one of the greatest books about punk flyers ever made!) and Bo Bushell on their killer series about Punk Art brought to the world by MocaTv…Now check out this on point documentary!
