Mammoth photo essay!

Yeah, yeah, we have all heard it before, a picture is worth a 1000 words, but you know what when Tanner Douglass is behind the lens, it totally rings true! He happens to be one of CVLT Nation’s favorite photographers, because his passion for his subject comes through in every flick! When you see Tanner’s work, you can feel that he is a part of the music that he is shooting, and this why you can hear the fury of the music just by looking at his photos. Lucky for all of the CVLT Nation readers, he was on hand at this year’s SXSW BrooklynVegan/Power of The Riff/Southern Lord Party, where he took some awesome shots of OFF!, HEARTLESS, FULL OF HELL, TRASH TALK, CODE ORANGE KIDS and DEAD IN THE DIRT. Fuck all of the talking – now it’s time to check out Tanner Douglass’ huge SXSW photo essay! See how this human celebrates music through film after the jump!

All photos are courtesy of the BrooklynVegan/Power of The Riff Party as part of the Thrasher/Converse Deathmatch…
