I tried my best to incorporate most of the metal bands that influence me and all of Deafheaven, but even with a ridiculously long mixtape I couldn’t include them all. So instead, here is a sampling of some of my favorite songs. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Next time maybe in a format that allows us to see which song we are listening to?

Wow, Darkthrone, Burzum, Hate Forest, Morbid Angel and a drummer wearing a Hate Forest shirt and still wondering why people are getting upset. Maybe it is my european point of view, right? I will totally sell all Deafheaven stuff and never attend any further show. And hey: I am not the only one. It is not about being sensitive. You are a bunch of oh so super-liberal hipster ignorants.

The only one that seems off is the Alcest track, but still a sound choice (even if its not from the album I’d have chosen from, but I digress).

A fine showing of the taste of the individual choosing it.
