TRACK LIST

1.The Cure – Disintegration (Closedown)
Probably 1 of the most influential albums on our project in general. Every track is amazing, and the atmosphere present over the entire LP is simply breathtaking. Melancholy at it’s finest.

2.Low – I Could Live in Hope (Words)
The overall vibe and pace of this Low album really set the tone for “Alright…”. It’s hushed drumming approach, slow tempos, and haunting guitar lines were definite influences.

3.Cocteau Twins – Head Over Heels (The Tinderbox (of the Heart))
“Head Over Heel”‘s strange, mysterious vibe definitely inspired moments on the album. The depressed and hazy guitar lines, plus the beautiful melodies, are just stunning.

4.Sonic Youth – Evol (Shadow of a Doubt)
One of my biggest influences, this album has a very unique vibe throughout. Every track is essential.

5.Slowdive – Souvlaki (When the Sun Hits)
Another LP with an amazing feel. The lush and swirling textures were major influences.

6.Sigur Ros – ( ) (Untitled 4)
Absolutely gorgeous soundscapes. In my opinion, alot of the tracks truly capture the feeling of loneliness. The quiet elements were big influences.

7.The Knife – Silent Shout: An Audio Visual Experience (Heartbeats)
This live album’s minimal re-interpretations of the Knife’s tracks make me think of night. Although, not directly influential on our project in sound, the pitch-black vibe was a somewhat subconscious influence during the recording of “Alright…”.

8.Bjork – Vespertine (Sun in My Mouth)
Beautiful instrumentation and fragile sounds. This album’s introspectiveness and gentle melodies were definitely influential during the sessions.

9.My Bloody Valentine – Isn’t Anything (No More Sorry)
The softer tracks on “Isn’t Anything” were an influence on the new album as well.

10.Godspeed You! Black Emperor – F# A# Infinity (The Dead Flag Blues)
The quieter moments of this album also influenced parts of “Alright…”.
