Sonic Cathedrals Vol. VIII
Curated by Mike IX Williams

CVLT Nation is ultra hyped, multiplied by extra excited, to announce that the Sonic Cathedrals Mixtape Series Vol. VIII Curated by Mike IX Williams goes live today! On the real, I feel like this human is a brother, he’s from the same era of 80’s hardcore as me, a time that shaped his life and mine. From the very first song, Mike IX goes in and explores part of what makes EYEHATEGOD such an awesome band, it’s punk rock roots! Actually, this mix is full of rare musical gems, but he also takes these detours on to different musical paths that makes Vol. VIII even that more fucking awesome! Enough with my talking, read what Mike IX Williams has to say about his mixtape below, download Sonic Cathedrals Vol. VIII after the jump & blast that motherfucker beyond loud…MAKE YOUR BRAIN MELT!

When CVLT Nation asked me to compile a list of bastard tracks for a virtual online “Mix Tape”, I was really freakin’ psyched and anxious to draw attention to a bunch of sick, raw tunes that may have somehow slipped under the radar for some of our infinite underground gang population. This list is far from comprehensive however, as my musical taste spreads far and wide, so for this particular installment I’ve focused on just a minute fraction of heaviness from all the fuck over our planet for your edification, educational guidance and just plain-ass overall muthafucking sweet enjoyment. Also, I want to point out to you that this is my personal playlist and is by no means indicative of EyeHateGod as a group, although we do of course all share a multitude of musical common links. OK, so having said all that; please check out the songs, decimate bottles of vodka, destroy society and don’t forget to put yer goddamn hips into it.

Not sure if everyone is having this problem, but when i go to the download link, this is the message I’m getting:

“This file has been identified as a copyright protected work and cannot be distributed using MediaFire.” – Not sure why, I’ve never had trouble before.
