ONE
“Dream of Serenity” This photo was taken up at my friends cabin, I remember when I came up with this idea and then thought “how and where can a burn a whole bed” we some how pulled it off. It got really sketchy for a minute when all the leaves started to catch fire around it but we (my friend mostly while I laughed at him trying to put it out with a plastic rake) put it out with harming anything. I really enjoy how this photo came out I think it’s peaceful and horrifying at the same time.
TWO
“Sheltering” I had man tell me a story not to long before I made this photo about his childhood. He wanted to play with baby dolls and not toy cars growing up. His parents wouldn’t let him have any so he would steal his neighbors, when his parents found out they freaked out and told him it wasn’t “normal” and not to tell anyone. Sheltering him from being who he was and making him grow up ashamed. That was the inspiration behind that photo.

“Fragile Perspective” It’s going to sound super weird but I was sitting at my kitchen table and that Fall Out Boy – Light Em Up song came on the radio and I thought “What can I catch on fire” I thought for about 15 min and came up with that photo, my sister and her friend helped me out once I got the shot we tried putting the fire out but just knocked it over onto the fence, once again things got sketchy but we thankfully got it out without damaging anything.

“Thinking Out Loud” I had this photo in my head awhile before making it, I don’t really know what took me so long to make it. One day while hanging out with a friend I finally got some rope and went out and made it. I have my own personal reasons for making this photo, I like to let people make their own minds about it.

“Untitled” This was the first “surreal” photo I ever made. A little over a year ago I wondered into the woods near my home with a bed sheet, a chair, an old picture frame and my camera. I had no idea what I was going to do with any of these things, I just went out hoping I would come up with something. I was sitting in the chair thats in the photo and I just put the sheet over my head and started taking photos, It wasn’t till later when I was at my computer that I thought of taking my body out of the photo, I’ve been stuck taking strange photos ever since.

“Result Of Circumstance” this photo can have a ton of meanings behind it I think, I’m not going to say what meaning it has to me that’s all up to the viewer but I am a bigger supporter when it comes to pro choice. I got that baby bassinet for $2 at a yard sale an hour before I made this.

“Pledge With Blindness” I was sitting in my room one morning and I remember that my dad had taken down the flag from in font of our house so I came up with this idea. Again this photo can have a ton of meanings behind it I think and I’ll leave it up to the viewer to make up their own.
