TWISTED MASS Review

Power dirge, ultra raw, metallic conviction and a endless stream of crustified soul is what is going attack your eardrums when you hear the Twisted Mass Ep. This intense Dublin collective kick out the jams that bring all of the ills of this world to the forefront of our reality. Honestly, I heard one song and got hooked, then I contacted the band and asked them to please send me their Ep ASAP, then I got even more hyped after hearing more songs! As a person that has been to this band’s hometown on several occasions, I can hear how the tension and grey skies of Dublin are alive in their sonic disorder. Twisted Mass’ songs are anthems of change and declarations of power for the unheard to take a stand against the bastards that want to keep us down! Every riff on this record is a weapon of mass change, and will have your braincells spazzing out. Deeper than that, the way they write their songs, you can hear the force of courage that wants us all to never again be victims of the corrupt system that imprisions the poor! Lyrically, these humans are way beyond on point, they speak the truth in my book. Twisted Mass’ songs are packed with rage, but they also know how weave the threads of distorted melody into the fabric of their angst. Is there anything wrong with this record? HELL FUCKING NO…but I do wish it was longer than five songs. I want to experience a Twisted Mass set live in packed room with the volume turned up to ten – now that would a gnarly night to remember. Hold on, it gets better – check out the stream below and you name the price of the download HERE! As long as the world is run by fuck ups, we will need bands like Twisted Mass to scream about what’s really going on. Not saying that they will change the world, but their songs will be the soundtrack for the humans that are not blind, deaf and dumb!
