The video for “In the Time of Abaddon” introduces viewers to a cataclysmic onslaught of Processian imagery, past and present, as Genesis P-Orridge (PSYCHIC TV, THROBBING GRISTLE) narrates the impending doom of the Apocalypse according to text by Process Church founder Robert deGrimston. New vocalist Jamie Myers then offers a chant from the “Discourse on Abaddon,” an ancient Coptic scroll that reveals the history and purpose of the Angel of Death – Abaddon: King of This World, a source of terror, to whom every person shall bow at the time of their death…no escape. The video is a bit weak but also plays on the old school look of the Process zines. I’m a huge fan of Sabbath Assembly but I haven’t heard this yet. Gonna cross my fingers and hope for the best.

This is one of the worst attempts at a “cult imagery”-laden music video I think I’ve ever seen. I just don’t understand the appeal – it’s not even well produced to look degraded, it’s just crap.
