Kata Sarka, from Indianapolis, totally fucking wrecks shop! Riding the winds of Knives was their first demo release. These three songs are perfect killing weapons for a blackened crust warrior. Each song is possessed by it’s own demon that drives the listener through hell. Kata Sarka‘s vocals are cold & dirty with the stench of decaying flesh. The guitar work on this is fucking blackened napalm. One thing I really dig about this band is their use of space subtle layers of atmospheric effects. Kata Sarka also have these moments within their sound where you can actually see the tears of the unforgiven. Stay tuned, I will be reviewing their new demo The Great Dereliction very soon.
