Reform…PANZRAM Review

Triple motherfucking wow… PANZRAM is really freaking fucking all that. This Florida band creates beautiful sonic mayhem. They put out a 10 inch called Reform, which is 22 minutes of rad noise rock for your brain. On the real, they have like an early Sonic Youth on acid vibe, but in actuality they play discordant hardcore. PANZRAM’s music has a constant hum of disjointed feedback that eats away at your bones, which I really like. The vocalist brings the kind of delivery to the plate which is very confrontational & killer. Their music is uncomfortable and jarring, but has this melodic tidal wave underneath that crashes against your skull. This band makes that sound that comes from deep down in the weird hearts & full of angst-ridden soul. When listening to them, you can hear the fun they have making music & the fact that they are not overthinking what they are scrawling out sonically. If you like your hardcore damaged by a fucked up art project well then PANZRAM is for you. As you can tell, I dig them to the max & so should you!
