Black metal? Just like Darkthrone said, it went plastic and fake now. I’m tired of the stereotypical black metal bands : silly corpsepaint, stupid kvlt nicknames, and fake satanic imagery. Seen it, done it! Even in Indonesia, I’ve seen too much symphonic black metal bands. But then I found this furious black metal punk assault named Fallenlight, this is the real deal man! Even Fenriz wrote about them on Darkthrone’s myspace blog, worship! Hailing from Yogyakarta – Indonesia, this band consists of two members: Abenz (amateur riff compiler, bass, rotten vocal) and M.O.T.F (monotonous drumming, vocal hell). So far they have released two demos : “OSBM” (three track demos – 2005) and “Last Man Standing” (two track demos – 2010), and currently working on new materials. They are heavily influenced by oldschool bands that they called as “bands with organic sounds” like Venom, Bathory, Burzum, Darkthrone, Hellhammer and suchs. Its like Motörhead jamming with Darkthrone and Venom : primitive, simple and ugly! No corpsepaint or gimmicky satanic imagery, pure organic and raw as fuck. For the love of leather jacket, jam this shit right after the jump!
