Ever since I can remember, I have been enchanted by female voices – I can’t explain what happens, but certain melodic sounds put me in a state of bliss. One singer that moves my spirit is Petra Jean Phillipson, and I’m so stoked that she has just put out a video that is visual wonderment and the song that accompanies it is pure magick. Every moment of this video has my mind spellbound; the costumes and the directing of this piece by Verena Paloma Jabs embeds these visuals in your thoughts the way that the song embeds itself in your soul.
