Obscene Noize Violence…
D-Clone/NERVESKADE
7″ inch Split Review

Do you ever get the feeling that being insane might be your new state of sanity? Well I get this feeling all the time, especially when I have Dis-Noise blasting out of my speakers. Bathing in filth & drying off with old bloody towels seems like the right thing to do. Better yet, when the Dis-Surge really is being played at the maximum level, all of these Dis-Roaches start to crawl out of my skin. I know what’s making me have these Dis-Thoughts, it’s the split 7″ between Japan’s D-CLONE & Portland’s NERVESKADE. Both of these inhumane groups subject the listener to high levels of sonic terror & ugly beautiful noise pollution. NERVESKADE starts off their side with a song called “Stabbing Brain” – need I say more? But it’s their second track, “Total Isolation,” where the band really starts to pick up the fury. The singer of Nerveskade sounds like he would be so happy if the whole world just died. This band has buried some maggot-infested melody underneath all of their mayhem. Now D-CLONE just wants to rip the face off of authority with a chain saw & the way their guitar sounds, it just might be possible. Nothing pretty could ever live within a D-CLONE song; how could it survive on blackened noise & no light? If you want some pure Dis-Angry all up in your brain cavity, you can’t go wrong with this split! So after the jump, turn off the light & check out some manic raw live footage.
