I can’t front, I have been a dis-beat junkie since 1982, when I first heard Discharge. Now it’s 2011, & I still want my feedback loud & raw. The Vancouver band UNLEARN brings it & then some. They play that kind of dis-noise that makes you know this shit is extra gnarly. Plus, under all of the visceral feedback, UNLEARN is melodic in a dirty kind of way, & that only adds to reasons why I dig them. With all of the fucked up shit happening in the world, it’s nice to hear from people who give a fuck! UNLEARN’s music will bulldoze through your skull & leave you feeling high.
