Long Distance Runner…
1995 Live Ritual

Fuck Washington D.C. and all of its political misery and lies! What this city means to me is rad music that has ben the soundtrack to my life since I was 12 years old, starting with the Flex Your Head compilation. The Bad Brains, The Scream and Minor Threat set the foundation for some of the musical pleasure that I found from this city of governmental douche-baggery. The one band that rose from the ashes of a couple of Dischord bands was Fugazi, and in my book, they were one of the greatest bands that came out of the nation’s capital, or even America. I really dig everything Fugazi stood for musically and politically. They created timeless tunes, and is a band that will stand the test of infinity! The word on the street is that they performed killer live gigs, and you know what, I believe that. Today CVLT Nation is super stoked to share share with you a bootleg recording of one their awesome shows at the Irving Plaza in New York City in 1995!

saw ’em back around that time, if not slightly earlier (whenever Repeater came out) and yeah, totally amazing live performance!
