This Indiana band do what they do & they do it badass! These dudes let you know what they are feeling & they have a thing for angst-ridden melody. At the Drive In with the lungs of Fugazi, who just got a heart transplant of Back Flag’s heart. I think you can see where I’m coming from – this band is on some next shit. The drumming on their HoldTight/LetGo Ep is almost has this tribal feeling to it & the beats can’t be ignored. The guitar riff on “Randy” is super catchy in the right way. Step Dads’ vocalist pours his heart out with every burst & he can ride the fuck out all of the tracks. They do a really rad call & response vocal style that I have always been into.
