Fast and pissed. The two words that best describes the band Hockey Dads from the Boston and Haverhill area in Massachusetts. This band is as gnarly as it gets! I just finished listening to the Hockey Dads demo and nothing has had me so hyped up to go out and skateboard since the Blacklabel skateboards released BLACKOUT back in 2003. Bored sick is probably my favorite track from the demo…it reminds me of being sixteen years old skateboarding up and down the south side with no money in my pocket looking for something to get into. It’s been a while since I’ve heard a new band come out that embraces the spirit of hardcore punk rock and Hockey Dads have it on point. Pissed off and not giving a damn. Overworked and underpaid. For fans of OFF! and Pukestorm. The recording is solid… There’s really not much more I can say about this rad band so do yourself a favor and check them out!
