Heavy Black Silence…ALARIDO Review

Alarido knows that out of black silence you can create the heaviest vibration. This Las Vegas band are blackened d-beat monsters that create a sound that is really all of their own. Their demo starts off with an epic ten minute track that has so many things about it that keep my attention. Alarido starts the track out with a mellow vibe that slowly builds into a dark crust-filled tale of agony. Amongst all of the rage that is swirling in this song, they have these emotional ebbs and flows that are totally captivating. Alarido are keen musicians who paint portraits of dispair with their sound, but within these reflections of bleakness the black sun still shines. Their vocalist projects the rage of the forgotten few. The ghost of a blackened Discharge can be found in the spirit of their sound, but really this band is on some next shit. What’s awesome about them is that they are not afraid of creating outside of their comfort zone; when you listen to their music, what I’m saying will totally make sense. So now you know what you must do: download their gnarly demo HERE!
