Ah shizz…news alert…just in, Chicago monster heavy HARPOON will release their new album on the almighty Seventh Rule label. I guess you could call me lucky, because right now I’m listening to a demo version of “To The Tall Trees,” one of their new songs, & it fucking kills. This track has the murder speed thing happening, plus gnarly twists & turns with epic drone parts. Vocals & guitar on this track slap you in the face. It gets better…HARPOON will enter Bricktop Recording in the month of June to record their sophomore record Deception Among Birds. Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos, Millions, Black September) will once again be handling the engineering duties after recording the band’s first first full-length, Double Gnarly /Triple Suicide, (Released on Interloper).
