Happy Birthday to the Acheron

It’s a rare thing in this world to find a venue run by good people, who give a shit about good music, believe in treating people in an upright manner, and putting on great events. The Acheron in Brooklyn is one of these rare places. Congratulations to Bill, Erik, and all the rest of the guys and gals who make that joint a rad place to see a show on making it through their first year. Last Saturday night, they put on one of the best damn parties of the year featuring an all-local lineup of heavy heros. Batillus, Defeatist, Beer & Cable, Mortals, Tournament, Bad Dream, and the debut of Trenchgrinder (former Atakke). One helluva show man.

Here’s to many more years and more beers!
