Toronto’s S.H.I.T. play blown out, ugly, uncomfortable yet catchy as fuck hardcore with distorted tortured vocals. I had the pleasure to catch them open for Fucked up and I have to say they took the show. Consisting of members of Violent Future, Owl Eyes, purity Control, urban blight and Eating Glass.
As a live band they are manic, energetic and sound absolutely on point as they destroy the room.
The next time I caught S.H.I.T. they were opening for Iron Lung on the overlook area of a curling club so you could watch S.H.I.T. tear it up then wander over to a bank of windows and watch clean cut yuppies curl and stare back at you in a mixture of curiosity and horror.
