Feast Of Blaze…
50 Minutes of Killing Joke
Now Showing

What 80’s band’s first four albums are classics, and changed the way music was created? The almighty Killing Joke. They represent what is good about music: creativity and origination. When I think of this band, I can’t help but think of my teenage years and how this band unified all scenes with radical sounds they put out into the universe. It would be easy to write a long list of the bands that they influenced, but I will only mention one: Amebix, nuff said! I wish I was lucky enough to have seen them in the 80’s, but for whatever reason, I was not. From what I have heard, Jaz was an electric front man, and you can even hear this on their records. In celebration of one our all time favorite musical forces, CVLT Nation salutes Killing Joke with a video essay of some of their killer performances!

A great choice Sean, one of my favourite bands. Seen them with Peter Hook playing bass for them around 20 years ago, a great gig.
