Colloquial Sound Recordings week on CVLT Nation continues, as we take a closer look at the new A Pregnant Light tape, Live to Tell. When I listen to this tape, I can’t help but to think about the human condition and how we are connected through an ocean of emotions. A Pregnant Light creates music that touches the deep caves of your mind, where both your dreams and nightterrors exist. This band are able to hit tones that can lift you out of a sea of shit. A Pregnant Light has nothing to prove, but they do have a lot to say with their music, and when you hear their version of Madonna’s “Live to Tell,” featuring Sigrid Sheie and Kris Force, you realize they do this for their own sanity. This is a tape that I will be blasting for years to come. CVLT Nation is streaming Live to Tell in full below, and we are sure that when you are done, you will head over to Colloquial Sound Recordings to pick up one of the limited edition tapes!
