THE BLACK HEART REBELLION
Har Nevo

I feel very lucky right now, because for months I have had the chance to blast the new album by The Black Heart Rebellion out of my speakers. Everything about HAR NEVO touches my humanity. This record is the sunlight for my darkest days, and the lyrics unlock the doors to my doubts about my place on this planet. The Black Heart Rebellion have created a record that is ancient blues for the modern human. Not saying that this album sonically sounds like Son House, but the spirit of HAR NEVO will get into your bones the same way he does. This record evokes a strong emotional response from the listener with its sense of urgency, and is perfectly balanced between light and dark sounds. You have probably heard snippets of the album so far, but it is really a piece that needs to be experienced in full. Today it’s our honor to be streaming The Black Heart Rebellion’s HAR NEVO in full below…The official release date is Jan. 18th, 2013. Stay tuned for a full review of HAR NEVO!

guys, to be honest im dissapointed. this does not sound like TBHR to me… at least not what i was used to. it sounds like a whole new band.
don’t get me wrong: probably i’m gonne like it anyway. but it’s just not what i expected, and it feels like there’s nothing left of what i appreciated about your music…
