CVLT Nation Premiere:
LOCRIAN Black Mass Performance
Now Showing

Yesterday, Dante Augustus Scarlatti, the visionary behind the label Auris Apothecary, reached out to us about his BLACK MASS project. It’s a live series that takes place in Bloomington, IN, and just like his label, this event pushes the boundaries of creativity. BLACK MASS XXIV took place at the Bishop Bar on Thursday, September 19th and featured our comrades LOCRIAN performing. What makes this so special is that Dante Augustus Scarlatti and his crew captured the whole show on hi-def film. LOCRIAN does not tour much, so to be able to see them do their thing live on film is very moving. While watching this, I said to myself, this band is unbelievable live – but it should be noted I’m a huge fan! CVLT Nation has been given the honor of premiering one of the very few full sets that you will find from this band. All Hail BLACK MASS for sharing this with us, and make sure to check out his label Auris Apothecary, which has some of the most interesting packaging on the planet! Right now, check out over 40 minutes of LOCRIAN molding sound into something beyond sound.
