From the depths of the Oakland sewers, STORMCROW was born. The now defunct group has finally re-released their off the hook album Enslaved In Darkness via Self Made God. This record just fucking drips the kind of crusty filth that will get you hyped. Something about STORMCROW’s music makes me envision the Viking battles of old, with bloody bodies strewn as far as the eyes can see. If you have not heard Enslaved In Darkness yet, now’s your chance! To celebrate the re-release of this killer piece of stench core history, CVLT Nation has put together a video essay of some our favorite live performances by STORMCROW, plus check out some of the tunes below. So after the jump, get your gasmask on and breathe in some of STORMCROW’s rancid stench!

Awesome post/for a really radical band from the Bay Area. The first video you posted was from one of my favourite shows out here in the bay area. D-Clone from Japan were playing and this was actually a secret set by Stormcrow. Nobody knew it was going to happen, they just set up and CRUSHED! Such a memorable and awesome evening, and my favourite Stormcrow set to date. Sooo good! Thanks for posting these awesome pieces of bay area underground history.
