ENDLESS PAIN, TOTAL DEATH
A REVELATION OF DOOM…
SODOMIA Live Now Showing!

A couple weeks ago, we celebrated CVLT Nation’s first birthday, and one of our favorite ghouls, Sandor from Harassor, sent us a very special video gift – the full performance of Martin De Pedro’s SODOMIA, live in L.A. on March 2nd, 2012. What Sandor told me about this project is that SODOMIA is Martin De Pedro’s filthy Nekro Metal brainchild, and also features previous participants such as Wino (!), Scott Batiste (Saviours), Brandon Pierce (ex-Ancestors), Troy Oftedal (ex-Ancestors), Cameryn Kelly (LANTVRN) plus other shady characters from the heavy SoCal underworld. What struck me about this gnarly performance was the brutal vocal delivery of Peter Major from Harassor. Once he was joined by Sandor on vocals, the vibe was almost like a tag team wrestling match, with both vocalists going back and forth. The guitar work throughout this set is demonic riffage at it’s blackest. One thing that is super cool about SODOMIA is that everyone on stage was having a great time and creating music that was coming from deep within their being! I put this video to the real test by sharing it with my 9 month old daughter, who, while watching, went apeshit and almost jumped out of her playpen. The world should see this video, so that they can witness how Los Angeles metal heads wreck shit!
