Stacy Peralta helped shape the way that the world sees skateboarding, being one of the o.g. Z-boyz, plus starting Powell Peralta. When I was young, I questioned whether was he down for Venice the way I thought locals should be, but as I got older I saw that he was the real deal because he took care of business! Stacy Peralta sits down with The Hour for a pretty real interview that will keep your attention. What’s killer about this interview is the amount of territory they cover in a very short time, from Stacy’s days skating to his filmmaking – speaking of which, Crips and Bloods: Made in America is one of my favorite documentaries ever. I’m super excited to see the his new film, Bones Brigade: An Autobiography, which is coming out soon. It’s fucking way beyond awesome to see someone from the hood make good, because so many of the homies did not make it! Peep this on point interview after the jump!
