Darkest Nightmare Of The Future Age…
AFTERBIRTH Review

What up heads of state…do you owe us a living? Of course you do you fucking dummy brains, after all these years of corporate lies you tell us, you owe us more than just a living! One Scottish band that will slap the taste out the mouths of our downpressors is AFTERBIRTH. These metallic crust warriors play that kind of stenchcore that makes me not want to shower for a week! Their album Darkest Nightmare Of The Future Age, out now via
No Sanctuary Records, is a full-blown war against the powers that need not be! On the real, every jam on this album is a nail-biter, with caustic riffs that could choke a police chief. From the very first track you will know that the onslaught is on, the revolution will not be televised, but AFTERBIRTH will bring the revolution to you. The drumming on this album is on some next shit, they have a crusty tribal beat happening that I love! The guitar solos are in their own league of murder, & should not be ignored. Hot damn, the vocalist in AFTERBIRTH brings pure conviction to every word that his throat fires out! Darkest Nightmare Of The Future Age is a war call to us all, but what makes you really care about what this band breaks down on the knowledge tip is the fact that you can hear & feel the blackened emotion that this band injects into every tune. What’s this in my hand? It’s a severed head of state…
