CVLT Nation Video Premiere
MB/RS “Black Box Recordings”

GOG and Micromelancolié have a new collaborative record out by the name of Black Box Recordings, and they have created this video teaser for the album, which comes out next month via Instruments of Discipline (pre-order here). The video features part of the track “Tearing Up,” and is a compilation of destruction, imploding buildings and collapsing structures. It reminds me that humans enjoy destruction as much – and sometimes more – than we do creation. Check out our premiere of this video below, and read what the artists have to say about their pending collaboration…

Black box recorders aren’t black, they’re orange. Often they are destroyed and they don’t always have all the answers we’re looking for. This recording documents a collision/collaboration between two sound artists, Michael Bjella (GOG) and Robert Skrzyński (Micromelancolié). This is what survived and this is all we have left, the sounds should tell the whole story.
