CVLT Nation Streaming: RWAKE “Nagarachi”

Relapse Records is getting ready to reissue Rwake’s first demo, XENOGLOSSALGIA: The Last Stage of Awareness, originally released in 1998. This release is fully remastered by Brad Boatright and includes 3D cover art and 3D glasses, which I can only imagine makes the trip through their punishing sound more terrifying!

This is RWAKE 17 years ago, when they were first discovering their dynamic as a now legendary band. This demo is as raw and scathing as it gets, and has a maturity and originality that has clearly carried through their releases over the past two decades. Today we’re stoked to be streaming track five, “Nagarachi,” so hit play and let the attack begin! XENOGLOSSALGIA: The Last Stage of Awareness is released on February 6th (Germany), 9th (UK/World) & 10th (US), and can be pre-ordered on vinyl and CD here and digitally here! Also check out a couple awesome photos of RWAKE’s early days…

That art is a total bite of Paul Laffoley’s Color Breathing and other pieces. Look it up. Hope they give credit.
