CVLT Contest! Design the cover for Musical Shamanism!

Hey guys! Musical Shamanism – The Book (working title, so to speak) is becoming more and more real, and we’ve got a special treat for all you artistically-inclined people out there.

Your artwork could become the books official cover! You can enter the contest by submitting your design to us at shaman@cvltnation.com, just make sure you do so before  November 1st. Here’s some guidelines to make sure your submission is approved:

Size and resolution must be adequate for the quarto print format, which is 9.5” wide, 12” tall. Remember to leave space for author, title, etc.

Submit an email-friendly version of the design. The full resolution design can be of massive size – make sure your entry does not exceed 2 MB. We will get in touch for the full version and release agreement when you win the contest.

Your design must be relevant. There’s nothing worse than a book cover that doesn’t match the contents of the book. You can read all related content here.

Enter before November 1st. We will need a week or so to process the entries and choose the best one, results will be posted asap. In the event that there will be two or more outstanding designs we may have a public vote to help us with the decision. Always something exciting here at CVLT Nation!

Feel free to contact me with any question using social media (profile links below).

Good luck!

Wasn’t this part of the liner art for Tool’s 10,000 Days? Maybe I missed something.
