One of the most important bands to ever come out of the UK were actually way more than just a band, they were a movement and an art collective. They went by the name of CRASS, and since they came on the scene in the 70’s, the world has never been the same. On a personal level, I know that I would not be the person that I am today if I didn’t get into them at an early age. CRASS is most known for the music that they created, but they were a group of creative humans that made art in many different mediums. In 1983, Mick Duffield, a part of the CRASS art collective, released his movie, CHRIST, which featured music from Crass’ album Yes Sir, I Will. This film will burn reality into your mind, with thought-provoking moving collages. The interesting thing about this movie is the content is almost 30 years old, but it is still relevant today! Watch the movie after the jump!
