Concert of a Lifetime…77 BOADRUM Documentary

When all of the 7’s come together, they create pounding bliss. On the 7th of July, 2007, at 7:07pm, that’s what happened at the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park in Brooklyn, New York. I was lucky to be on hand to witness this human-made magic carpet ride. On this day, the Boredoms, along with 77 drummers, made time stand still. Everyone played in unison; it seemed as if their heartbeats became one. It was crazy to see all of these people focused on the same rhythm & you could see the sense of euphoria grow on their faces with each passing minute. After 77 minutes of earth-shattering drumming, it was over, but for those who were there the beat plays on. Luckily this rad day was filmed so that people from then until forever will be to watch it. So after the jump, check out the 77 Boadrum & some killer flicks – some of them were taken by me – enjoy.

Boredoms the next generation!
