Here comes pain, here comes hell spawn, here comes Rot in Hell. This UK hardcore band is sick as fuck. Their album, As Pearls Before Swine, released via Deathwish may cause brain damage if listened to at loud a volume, so turn it up. This record has mad depth & conviction; each song is well-crafted in the spirit of the abyss. From the very first song, “The Lucius Ferre,” the drums just punch you in your heart & never stop! Rot in Hell commands you to pay attention by creating music that is 200% hateful rage. Another thing that Rot in Hell never loses is the Satan boogie with their punk attitude. The singer has killer chops & the guitar-playing is on some samurai slice kill kill shit. Don’t get me wrong, these dude are smart, so they give their tunes the right amount of emotional injection. With all of the dark overtones of As Pearls Before Swine, this band still creates moments of hope for this fucked up society.
