Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions (The Great Old Ones, Darkenhold, Deuil) has recently opened up a side branch of their record label entitled Emanations. The sub-division of the label will be showcasing up and coming French Black Metal bands and will be released via cassette tapes for all you fiends out there. In celebration of this expansion, Les Acteurs de l’Ombre will running a contest over the next twenty-four hours where a few lucky people will receive their newest offerings of darkness for free! AEZH MORVARC’H
The whole album is based on the legend of Morvarc’h, the sea galloping horse from Breton folklore. It’s a captivating album of melodic black metal which conveys the subject matter with impressive accuracy. A great combination between the aggressiveness of Black Metal and the epic melodies that ancient Breton legends call for.
IN CAUDA VENENUM
This self-titled album is made up of two, 21 minute long tracks of scathing Black Metal with hints of post-rock influences. The mixing of genres is seamless and results in a well balanced, spellbinding album. Artwork by Jeff Grimal!

Seven tracks of atmospheric and mesmerizing Black Metal. There is something very aerial to this album, almost ethereal. LIFESTREAM plays with contrasts and contradictions through lyrical themes as well as music and delivered an inspiring in this atmospheric full-length.

The band delivers a fierce, classic orthodox Black Metal sound layered with atmospheres. The cassette tape format is ideal for this album as it is so reminiscent of traditional Black Metal, yet it undoubtedly brings something new to the table.
