A couple weeks ago, Iron Lung were playing in Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of their South East Asia Tour 2011 and they were so amazing! These power violence act from Seatle, Washington, can make such aggressive and loud music in a live setting which just a drummer and a guitarist. Thrashy blast-beats and sludgy metal breakdowns thrown together into quick songs. Nothing complicated here, just a full brutal energy & loud volume. Jensen Ward (Drums) & Jon Kortland (Guitar) are completely brilliant! I also picked up their tour 7″ and a copy of V/A – Iron Lung Cassette Mixtape.
