Watch Out! Just Before Impact…

Some people want us to be all serious all the time. We surround ourselves with art and music that explores death, destruction and human darkness, so sometimes we need a break to lighten up and laugh. OK – usually we’re laughing at someone else’s pain, so I guess it’s not really taking a break, but it’s damn funny. Like those times when you see someone falling on their ass and you catch their split-second expression and you can’t help but laugh. The memory of how goofy they looked is fleeting, so that’s why sites like JustBeforeImpact.com (brought to you by the makers of Bad Taxidermy) are so important – they immortalize that moment of fear, disbelief, ridiculousness on film, and the internet, so that you can return time and again to laugh at their misfortune. I don’t know who does these websites – there’s no contact info, no about section, no advertising – but I’d like to thank them for the happiness they’ve brought into my life. If you’re having a bad day, or just caught a ball int he face and other people are laughing at you, then take a look at some of the photos below. I know they’ll make you feel better!
