The 1987 skate video Santa Cruz Wheels of Fire was game-changing on so many different levels. You could really see from this film that street skating was about to take over and vert skating was fading away. More than that, Wheels of Fire was the video that made the world pay attention to Santa Monica local Natas Kaupas as someone that would be leaving his mark on the sport. Then you had Christian Hosoi straight killing shit like only he could do. Wheels of Fire also has an innocence about it that you could tell that the sport had not been corrupted by the big corporate bucks. This is a 45-minute blast into skating past, so get ready for take off and peep this video after the jump!
