Stench is in the air, so those warmongers better beware! Canadian Crust warriors Contagium put out a six song tour tape that is just off the fucking meter. It’s 12 minutes of righteous kickass metallic protest music that will strike fear in the psychopathic hearts of the capitalist swine! Every song on this tape is fucking john blaze with razor-sharp riffs of anger. Contagium’s vocals on this tape sound deep and are coated with the pain of the oppressed. This band’s music makes you want fight for the rights for those whose voice has been taken away. What really impresses me about this release is the level of conviction that Contagium has for the issues that they sing about! All of the songs on this tape have a thick wall of crusty fury that will make the hairs on the back of your skull stand up! What will also get you hooked on this band is the blackened melody that floats right under the surface of all of their tunes. They also have a secret weapon called emotion, and with this they make the listener feel like they are a part of the rebellion. I know for a fact we are the future, so you dirty bastards better watch out, because Contagium is coming for you! This band is a perfect example of how music can be a weapon for social justice. The storm of change is on the horizon, and some of those clouds of revolution will be named Contagium. Check out some all the way live footage below and after the jump, plus download this sick tape HERE!

Man, this is great stuff. I’ve been looking for something, ANYTHING to hold me over since Stormcrow called it quits. Thanks for the good music duders.
