Let’s get ready to get heavy! I can’t speak for every gnarly music lover on the west coast, but in my book, on Saturday, Aug. 11th, it’s all going down at The Power of the Riff! I won’t front – one of the bands that I’m extra excited to see is the Bay Area’s NOOTHGRUSH. I will have sticky icky bud on deck and will be ready to get my brain zapped by this band’s mammoth lazer of dirge! Another band that I know mad heads are going to go cyco to see is Xibalba. They have just released their album Hasta La Muerte via Southern Lord – check out our review HERE. So what we are doing today is a live footage battle royal, and Part One is: NOOTHGRUSH vs. XIBALBA.
