Noriyoshi Ohrai was a very prolific illustrator and oil painter who created some of my favorite movie posters of all time! His resume is long – just peep some of the films he worked on: Star Wars, The Goonies, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior plus the Godzilla films. His use of color was so on point that it went beyond just eye candy into a universe where the colors almost could alter your mind. The movement you will see in his pictures is unreal – he was able to make things seem like they were alive, which is an art unto itself.
