In the world of tarot, the cards can be works of art unto themselves. One rare and stunning deck is the IONA Tarot, designed and printed by artist Giona Fiochi, who produced only 12 complete decks using intaglio printing in 1999. Although their history is fairly recent, the quality of the artwork is stunning, and their beauty and rarity makes these sets highly coveted. The images on the cards are delicate and intricate in their design, but there is a power that emanates from these images, as if they hold ancient wisdom and clarity. A story is told almost more in the images the cards hold than in the words of the tarot reader. Find your future in the IONA Tarot below…

I was reading about this deck a few weeks ago. I love how each element in Tarot art has a meaning. Great post!
