When the subject of Crust and d-beat music is brought up, many things come to mind. Images of old, battered Aus-Rotten patches, house shows, cheap beer, kick-ass guitar tone, and of course, lots of black clothing. Not surprisingly, South Korea probably is the furthest thing from your mind when Crust and d-beat are the topic at hand. That, my friends, is about to change. Seoul, South Korea’s Scumraid is bringing their own special blend of disarray to the contemporary crust/d-beat scene. Scumraid provides listeners the most blistering riffage and some of the most pissed off vocals you may hear all year. The band’s sound incorporates immense amounts of noise and d-beat for listeners to get naked and fuck each other up to. If you enjoy being naked and getting rowdy in the pit, then you may want to book your flight to Seoul immediately. Just FYI punkers, Southwest airlines doesn’t go to South Korea.

Anyway, aside from getting naked, Scumraid is the perfect band for those lonely evenings where you’re definitely not drinking alone and thinking of various way to murder your ex. Whether you’re planning on lighting them on fire, hitting them with your car, or just poisoning their food, Scumraid will provide you with the perfect soundtrack. Shit, if you’re lucky, maybe the way in which you do murder your ex will be so brutal that Stephen Baldwin will play you in a made for TV movie about the heinous crime you committed. If you ask me, having your legacy fulfilled by Stephen Baldwin is fucking punk. So what the fuck are you doing? Seriously people, Stephen Baldwin isn’t gonna just go out into the world and randomly portray your life. You have to earn that shit, and Scumraid is here to help!!! You know those drunk nights where you tell your friends all the things you need to do, like: go to Europe, murder your ex, try acid, climb a mountain, get scared halfway up the mountain and come down, engage in sexual intercourse with your co-worker that has a Hatebreed tattoo, and of course fly to South Korea to see Scumraid!!
