Hi, what are you looking for?

Black Metal

Taping the ritual: Cult Of Erinyes – A Place To Call My Unknown available on tape!

This band might not ring a bell, which is perfectly normal. Cult Of Erinyes only released one album so far (on Les Acteurs de L’ombre Productions) so they’re still fresh in the game, though among underground fiends they have gained quite a reputation with that one single full length, which led to a deal with Code 666 records. “A Place To Call My Unknown” is blackmetal of the highest order. Cult Of Erinyes focusses on atmosphere and ambience instead of speed or rawness. It doesn’t sound dated, nor does it sound overly polished,  just dark and gnarly. While the initial release was on CD-format, but the band has now chosen to spread their rituals on tape as well, which can only be enthused, so we suggest you go and check it out.

Interested worshippers of the dark can contact Tanquam Aegri Somnia on facebook or contact the band of course.
